What I Help With
Therapy for Adults With ADHD
Many adults with ADHD have spent years hearing that they are too much, not enough, or not trying hard enough. Therapy can be a place to set that story down and understand how your mind actually works.
What I Help With
Beyond Productivity Hacks
You may already have a shelf of planners and a list of strategies. Tools can help, and they are rarely the whole story. For many adults, the harder part is the shame that built up over years of being misunderstood, and the anxiety and overwhelm that come with trying to keep up.
I am less interested in fixing you than in helping you understand yourself. That includes the strengths that come with a mind that moves differently: curiosity, creativity, and the ability to see connections other people miss.
What Our Work Can Include
We might look at the patterns of self-criticism that follow a missed deadline, the people-pleasing that fills the calendar, or the exhaustion of masking. We might explore how your nervous system responds to pressure and what helps you come back to yourself.
Therapy with me does not include prescribing medication. If medication is something you want to explore, that is a conversation to have with a prescribing provider, and therapy can sit alongside it.
Getting Started
Sessions are online for adults located in Georgia, Ohio or Tennessee and run 55 minutes. The fee is $200. Limited sliding scale options are available, and I can provide a superbill for possible out-of-network reimbursement.
A free 15-minute Connection Call is a relaxed way to see whether we are a fit.
