Therapy That Is Not About Fixing You
No fixing, just unfolding. People do not need to be fixed. They need space to unfold.

You Are Not Broken
Present Life Counseling grew out of my belief that therapy is not about fixing what is wrong with someone, but creating the conditions for people to more fully know and trust themselves.
Many of the people I work with have spent years trying to fix themselves: reading every book, trying every strategy, and still feeling like a project that is never finished. That constant self-improvement can become its own kind of exhaustion.
What Happens Instead
Instead of a fix, we make room. Room to slow down, to notice what is true, to feel what has been held back, and to hear your own knowing more clearly. When there is enough safety to tell yourself the truth, change often follows on its own.
This is not the right fit for everyone. If you are mainly looking for a quick fix, highly structured treatment, or someone to tell you what to do, another therapist may serve you better. If you want to go deeper and take ownership of your growth, this may be what you have been looking for.
Beginning Where You Are
You do not have to arrive composed or know exactly what you want. A small amount of willingness is enough for a first conversation.
Therapy is held online for adults located in Georgia, Ohio or Tennessee, in 55-minute sessions. You can begin with a free 15-minute Connection Call.
A gentle first step
Start with a Connection Call.
A free 15-minute conversation to briefly connect, explore what kind of support you're looking for, and see whether working together feels like the right fit.
