Contact

Let's begin with a conversation.

The free 15-minute Connection Call is a simple first step: a chance to connect, explore what kind of support you're looking for, and see whether working together feels like the right fit.

Request a Connection Call

You do not need to tell your whole story here.

A few lines about what is bringing you to therapy or a Present Life Session are enough. This form is for beginning a conversation, not for proving that your reasons are serious enough.

Lisa provides psychotherapy by telehealth only to clients located in Georgia, Ohio or Tennessee. One-on-one Present Life Sessions may be available in other states. They are not psychotherapy or a substitute for mental health treatment.

Psychotherapy is $200 per 55-minute session. Limited sliding scale options are available. Present Life Counseling is self-pay and can provide a superbill for possible out-of-network benefits.

Prefer to write? Send a message and Lisa will get back to you.

Please do not use this form for urgent or crisis support. Call or text 988, or call 911 for an emergency.

What happens next

A brief conversation, not a commitment.

Your inquiry creates a starting point. Lisa can respond to arrange the free 15-minute call and briefly connect about what you are looking for.

The Connection Call is not a therapy session. You do not need to share every detail, explain your history from the beginning, or decide immediately whether to schedule ongoing work.

You can use the time to ask about Lisa's approach, session frequency, telehealth, rates, or anything else that matters to your decision. You can also notice the experience of the conversation itself. Fit is not only a list of qualifications; it is relational.

If working together feels right, you can discuss what comes next. Most clients begin weekly or biweekly, then adjust frequency over time. If it does not feel like the right fit, the call can still have served its purpose by giving you more clarity.

Before reaching out

You are welcome as you are.

You may be clear and ready. You may have returned to this page several times. You may be thinking about whether your pain is significant enough, whether you should be able to manage on your own, or whether you can explain what is happening.

Those questions often belong to the same patterns that bring people to therapy: overthinking, self-doubt, emotional over-responsibility, and the belief that support must be earned.

You do not have to become less uncertain before making contact. A small amount of willingness is enough for a first conversation.

Therapy with Lisa is thoughtful, grounded, emotionally safe, and presence-based. It can include nervous system regulation, attachment dynamics, relational healing, identity, self-worth, boundaries, and emotional clarity. It begins with meeting the person who is here now.

Virtual therapy in Georgia, Ohio and Tennessee

Care without a commute.

All sessions are held by telehealth for clients in Georgia, Ohio or Tennessee. You can join from a private location with a reliable internet connection and a suitable device.

Virtual care can make therapy more accessible within a full week, but it still deserves protected space. If possible, choose a place where you are unlikely to be interrupted and give yourself a few minutes after the session before moving into your next responsibility.

There is no street address because Present Life Counseling is currently a telehealth-only practice. Please use the form rather than searching for an office location or direct contact details.

A note about urgency

This form is not monitored for emergencies.

If you are in crisis, call or text the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. If you are experiencing an emergency, call 911.

Do not wait for a response to this inquiry form when immediate support is needed. The form is intended only for non-urgent questions and Connection Call requests.

If your inquiry is not urgent, complete the form above with the contact information you would like Lisa to use. You do not need to include sensitive clinical details.

Reaching out can feel vulnerable, especially when you are accustomed to being the one other people rely on. The first step can remain simple: a brief connection, a few honest questions, and space to notice what feels right.
