What I Help With

Therapy for Depression and Low Mood

Sometimes the heaviness has a clear cause. Sometimes it just settles in and stays. Either way, you deserve a place to be with it honestly, without being reduced to a label.

What I Help With

When Life Feels Flat or Heavy

Low mood can look like exhaustion that sleep does not fix, a loss of interest in things that used to matter, or a quiet sense of going through the motions. For sensitive, thoughtful people it often comes with self-criticism about not being able to think your way out of it.

I believe every person has the capacity for expanded awareness and personal truth, even when it gets buried by conditioning, confusion, or grief. Depression can be part of that burying. It does not mean the deeper part of you is gone.

A Different Lens on Depression

I trained in humanistic and transpersonal psychology, which sees each person as a unique individual with their own capacity for growth. So rather than only asking what is wrong, we also ask what your low mood might be pointing toward: a life that no longer fits, a loss that has not been grieved, a part of you that has been waiting to be heard.

We work gently and at your pace. That can include noticing what happens in your body, listening to different parts of you, and making room for feelings that have been held down for a long time.

Safety Comes First

If you are having thoughts of harming yourself or feel you are in danger, please call or text 988 to reach the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, or call 911 in an emergency. Online weekly therapy is not a crisis service.

If you are ready for ongoing support, therapy is held online for adults located in Georgia, Ohio or Tennessee. You can start with a free 15-minute Connection Call.
