Who I Work With
Therapy for Older Adults
Growth does not stop at a certain age. Later life brings its own transitions, losses, and questions, and it deserves the same care and curiosity as any other chapter.
Who I Work With
Later Life Is Still Development
I work with adults in their sixties, seventies, and beyond. Development fascinates me, and I do not believe it ends at retirement. Later life can bring a clearer sense of what matters, and it can also bring grief, loneliness, health changes, and the loss of roles that gave life shape.
Some people come to therapy for the first time in later life. Others return after many years. Either way, you are welcome as you are.
What We Might Explore
We might make room for grief for a partner, friends, or a former version of yourself. We might look at family relationships, including adult children and grandchildren, and the roles you still find yourself playing. We might explore meaning, legacy, and how you want to spend the years ahead.
My approach is unhurried and respectful. We go at the pace that feels right to you.
Online Sessions
Sessions are held by telehealth, which means no driving and no waiting rooms. You will need a device with a camera and a private place to talk. If the technology is new to you, we can take a few minutes to get comfortable with it.
Therapy is for adults located in Georgia, Ohio or Tennessee. A free 15-minute Connection Call is a relaxed first step.
A gentle first step
Start with a Connection Call.
