Who I Work With

Therapy for BIPOC Adults

Your story does not happen in a vacuum. Culture, family, history, and the experience of moving through the world as you do are all part of what we can talk about.

Who I Work With

Context Matters

I work with Black, Indigenous, and other adults of color. I do not believe good therapy can separate a person from their context. The stress of navigating spaces that were not built for you, the expectations carried by families, and the patterns passed between generations are real, and they deserve room in the conversation.

At the same time, you are more than any category. You get to decide which parts of your experience we focus on.

What I Bring and What I Do Not Assume

I will not assume I understand your experience, and I will not ask you to educate me before you can get support. When something matters to you, I want to hear about it in your words.

My approach is non-pathologizing. I see sensitivity, vigilance, and the ways people adapt to difficult environments as intelligent responses, not personal failings. We look at what those adaptations have protected and what they cost now.
