What I Help With

Therapy for Highly Sensitive Adults in Georgia

You notice more, feel more, and carry more. Sensitivity is not a flaw to fix. It is a way of perceiving the world, and it deserves care that understands it.

What I Help With

What Sensitivity Can Feel Like

Many of the people I work with grew up deeply attuned. They noticed the change in the room before anyone named it, carried the emotional weight of their families, adapted quickly, and became wise far too early.

As adults, that same attunement can look like success on paper and quiet overwhelm underneath. A mind that will not stop analyzing. Rest that feels like something you have to earn. Being the steady one for everyone else, and not quite knowing what you want for yourself.

Why I Do Not Treat Sensitivity as a Problem

I have always been a sensitive person myself, aware of the subtleties of the world and inclined to question things. That is part of why the medical model never made sense to me. I do not see your sensitivity as a symptom. I see your gifts and your wounds as intertwined, not pathological.

Over time, sensitivity can mirror the patterns of chronic stress: hypervigilance, self-blame, emotional over-responsibility, and a nervous system that has spent years holding it all together. Our work is to gently untangle those old adaptations so your natural clarity, intuition, and inner authority can come forward again.

How We Work Together

Sessions are unhurried. We move at the pace your nervous system can trust. I draw on somatic awareness, parts work informed by Internal Family Systems, mindfulness, and a humanistic view of you as a whole person who is still developing.

Therapy is held online, for adults located in Georgia, Ohio or Tennessee. Sessions are 55 minutes. You can begin with a free 15-minute Connection Call to see whether working together feels right.
