What I Help With

Therapy for Trauma and Post-Traumatic Stress

Trauma is not only what happened. It is also what your nervous system learned in order to get through it. Healing can begin when there is enough safety to notice that, slowly.

What I Help With

Relational and Developmental Trauma

Much of the trauma I work with is relational. It grows out of years of adapting to emotionally complicated environments rather than a single event. People with complex PTSD often describe hypervigilance, self-blame, emotional over-responsibility, and an exhausted nervous system that has spent years holding it all together.

In 2023 I completed the NARM Basic Training, which focuses on relational trauma. It shapes how I listen: with attention to how early adaptations still show up in your relationships, your body, and your sense of who you are.

How We Approach It

We do not rush toward the hardest memories. Trauma-informed care means context, consent, pacing, and respect for what your system can hold. Some sessions are about stabilizing and noticing. Others go deeper when you are ready.

I draw on somatic awareness, parts work informed by Internal Family Systems, and mindfulness. The aim is not to erase your history, but to help you relate to it with more compassion and less alarm, so that the past has less of a grip on the present.
