What I Help With
Psychedelic Preparation and Integration
What happens before and after a psychedelic experience matters as much as the experience itself. Preparation helps you arrive with care. Integration helps what opened up find a place in your life.
What I Help With
Why the Before and After Matter
More people are exploring psychedelic experiences, in many different settings. Most of the conversation is about the experience itself. In my work, the time around it matters just as much.
An experience can bring up memories, strong emotion, insight, or parts of you that have been waiting a long time to be heard. Without support, it can fade quickly, or feel like too much to hold on your own.
Preparation
Preparation is a chance to slow down before an experience. We look at what is drawing you toward it, what you are hoping for, what you are carrying, and what support you have around you. We get to know the parts of you that feel curious, cautious, or afraid, so none of them has to be pushed aside. Preparation is not about talking you into or out of anything. It is about arriving with more awareness and more steadiness.
Integration
Integration is the slower work that comes after. Sometimes an experience leaves clarity. Sometimes it leaves questions, grief, or feelings that are hard to name. We make room for all of it, with curiosity and without rushing to decide what it means.
Together we notice what wants attention in your body, your relationships, and your everyday life, so that what opened up can become something you live, not just something you remember.
How I Work With This
This work rests on the same foundations as the rest of my therapy: parts work, somatic awareness, mindfulness, and a deep respect for your own pace. Nothing about it is rushed.
Sessions are therapy conversations held online, before and after an experience. No substances are provided or used in sessions.
If you ever feel unsafe after an experience, call or text 988, or call 911 in an emergency.
Beginning
Therapy is held online for adults located in Georgia, Ohio or Tennessee, in 55-minute sessions. You can start with a free 15-minute Connection Call to see whether working together feels right.
