What I Help With
Anxiety Therapy for Adults in Georgia
You may function well on the outside and still feel internally unsettled, exhausted, or unsure what you actually want. Anxiety often makes sense once we understand what it has been trying to do for you.
What I Help With
Anxiety Is Not Always a Malfunction
I tend to see a certain amount of anxiety as a reasonable response to living through a time of so much cultural change. If you are awake to the world, some unease is part of being human right now. That does not mean you have to live braced all the time.
For many people, anxiety grew out of something useful. Overthinking helped you anticipate disruption. Staying one step ahead kept things steady. The work is not to shame that part of you, but to understand what it protects and what it costs you now.
Working With the Body, Not Only the Thoughts
Emotionally intelligent people often understand their anxiety very well. You can name the pattern and trace where it came from, and it still shows up the moment your nervous system senses threat. Insight matters, and so does what your body has learned.
In our sessions we slow down enough to notice what happens in your body when anxiety rises. We listen to the parts of you that worry, rush, or over-prepare. Over time there is often more room to notice, stay connected to yourself, and choose what comes next.
What to Expect
This is not a quick-fix or highly structured program, and I will not hand you a script. It is a steady, collaborative relationship where you are met with curiosity rather than judgment.
