Questions
What Happens in a Free Consultation
Reaching out can feel vulnerable, especially if you are used to being the one others rely on. Knowing what to expect can make the first step a little easier.
Questions
The Connection Call
My free consultation is called a Connection Call. It is a 15-minute conversation to briefly connect, explore what kind of support you are looking for, and see whether working together feels like the right fit.
It is not a therapy session. You do not need to share every detail, explain your history from the beginning, or decide on the spot whether to schedule ongoing work.
What We Might Talk About
I will usually ask a little about what is bringing you to therapy now and what you are hoping for. You can ask about my approach, how often people meet, how telehealth works, fees and superbills, or anything else that matters to your decision.
You can also simply notice what the conversation feels like. That is useful information too.
What Happens Next
If working together feels right, we talk about scheduling a first session. If it does not, the call can still give you more clarity about what you are looking for.
To request a Connection Call, use the contact form. If you would rather pick a time yourself, you can also book directly through my online scheduler. Therapy is for adults located in Georgia, Ohio or Tennessee.
